Mommy Support Circle Events
FAQs
-
A warm, welcoming space to connect with other mothers through guided reflection, movement, and community-based support. It’s a chance to exhale, share what’s real, and feel held, without pressure to be “on.”
-
This event is not intended for individuals currently experiencing an active mental health crisis, suicidal ideation, or acute trauma response.
We hold deep compassion for those navigating such moments and want to ensure you receive the focused, clinical support you deserve. If you are in crisis, please contact a licensed mental health provider or call/text a support line such as:
📞 988 – Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
📱 Postpartum Support International HelpLine: 1-800-944-4773 (text: 503-894-9453)
You are not alone. There is help and healing available.
-
No. This event is not a therapy group or clinical treatment space. While it’s guided by a facilitator with mental health training, it is designed as a non-clinical, community support circle rooted in emotional safety, presence, and shared experience.
-
A brief intention-setting activity
A reflective prompt using dry erase paddles (yes, it's fun and introspective!)
A supportive, lightly guided group conversation
A somatic or grounding practice to close
Light snacks + play items for little ones when applicable
No pressure to speak—your presence is enough
-
That’s okay—and you’re not alone. If, during or after the event, you feel that you’d benefit from more in-depth support, we encourage you to connect with a licensed professional.
Referrals are available through our trusted network, including our sister practice, Happy Nest Psychotherapy, which specializes in perinatal mental health care.
Whether you’re carrying your baby, pushing a stroller, or holding a toddler’s hand—we hope you’ll join us for the next walk.
